It was a bit of an odd day today, i’d been looking forward to trying to right a few wrongs from the Maidstone meeting but it wasn’t to be. The weather was the only winner, on a short wet track i set the bike up as best possible for practice. We got round alright but i dont think it stopped raining for the whole session.

We had our first race which was a muddy one, after not gating very well from the outside we were filled in on every corner, and came thru into 2nd behind Bennett/Hughes. I felt we could go alot quicker if only i could see where to go! but before our 2nd race and after a nasty solo crash the club decided to abandon the meeting as the track had become very difficult to ride.

So an early end to the day, only one more meeting to go this season, hope that one lasts a bit longer!
